Collaborative effort between TAIB and Insurans Islam TAIB on financial planning & insurance

Ten Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel who underwent a course on account services attended a briefing on financial planning and insurance that was held at the lecture theater at Penanjong Garrison, Tutong last week.
The briefing began with an explanation on the types of Insurance products available such as general insurance and mortgage insurance plans, which was presented by the Senior Executive Officer of the Marketing department for Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd, Awang Haji Jefri bin Haji Bachee. Awang Haji Shamsul bin Haji Muhamad, Manager of Sales department for Perbadanan TAIB went on to further explain the importance of financial planning in a more structured and systematic way. Among the topics discussed were how to manage your cashflow, credit owings and choosing the right investment.
Present to attend the briefing was Commanding Officer of Finance and Training Branch of Military Craft Training, Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Institute at Penanjong Garison, Major Muhd Suradzin bin Haji Muhd Yusof.
A question and answer session was held at the end of the briefing. One of the participants had expressed how informative and beneficial the briefing was; in terms of how to run their duties and responsibilities and how it can be adapted to their daily lives. It is also hoped that more similar briefings can be held to reach all the personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
