Perbadanan TAIB marks Aidiladha with korban distribution ceremony

Perbadanan TAIB celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha
by holding a korban distribution ceremony at the
atrium of the Airport Mall today. Hari Raya
Aidiladha or Hari Raya Korban commemorates the
closing of the Haj, the annual muslim pilgrimage
to the holy city of Mekkah.
Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji
Mohammad bin Pengiran Hj Abdul Rahman, Minister
of Religious Affairs cum Advisor to Perbadanan
TAIB was present as guest of honour to
distribute the Korban meat. Other guests
included Managing Director, Awg Yusof bin Hj Abd
Rahman, members of Boards of Directors, members
of the Syariah Advisory Committee, officers and
staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries. A
total of five cows and buffaloes were sacrificed
and the meat was distributed to special guests
and staff recipients.
“Hari Raya Aidiladha is a very important
occasion for us and we will continue to uphold
our values in performing our Muslim duties for
our staff and community of Brunei Darussalam.”
said Awg Yusof bin Abd Rahman. The ceremony
concluded with the recital of a Doa Selamat. |
