TAIB held a certificate presentation ceremony
to TAIB officers & staff for participating in
the Fire Marshall Training conducted last
November by the Fire& Rescue Department held at
their Berakas Station.
A total of 29 participants joined the training
selected from each departments & TAIB branches.
The objectives of the training conducted were to
ensure the Fire Marshalls are to be the first
person to act upon any fire incidences before
the arrival of Fire Rescuers.
The training includes directing others to remain
calm and not to panic during any fire situations
and to lead people to the safety assembly area.
Trainees are also exposed to learn how to use
different types of fire extinguishers & Fire
Hoses and trained in a ‘dark room’ to help
overcome fear, panic and the techniques on how
to escape from a burning building. This at the
same time will also help build confidence and
courage to the Fire Marshalls.
Present to award the certificates was TAIB
Acting Managing Director, Yang Mulia Pengiran
Haji Abdul Rahman bin Pengiran Haji Mat Salleh
and was witnessed together with the Fire &
Rescue instructors.
The event was held at the Tarindak d’ Seni, 1st
