TAIB held Khatam
Al-Quran, ‘Bersungkai’ & donations to the DANA
D.P.M.M.B

Officers and staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries Insurans
Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd and Darussalam Holdings Sdn
Bhd held its annual religious activity in the
holy month of Ramadhan for the Khatam Al-Quran &
Bersungkai Ceremony which was held at the Indera
Kayangan Ballroom of the Empire Hotel, Jerudong.
The event started with the presentation of the
‘Caruman Pelan Takaful Siswa Khas’ for the
orphans for the year 2009 which totals to BND$
73,100.00 and the Dana D.P.M.M.B for the
orphanage contributed by Perbadanan TAIB
employees amounting to BND$ 5,524.00
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang
Berhormat Pehin Jawatan Luar Pekerma Raja Dato
Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Mohd Zain bin
Haji Serudin, Minister of Religious Affairs also
as Advisor for Perbadanan TAIB.
The Dana was presented by YM Dato Paduka Dr Haji
Mat Suny bin Haji Mohd Hussein, the Deputy
Minister of Development cum Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB. In
attendance to receive on behalf of DANA
D.P.M.M.B was the DANA Head Executive Officer,
YM Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim bin Haji Mohd
Daud.
The ceremony then precede with the Khatam Al-Quran
which was lead by Yang Berhormat Pehin Jawatan
Luar Pekerma Raja Dato Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Haji
Awang Mohd Zain bin Haji Serudin
And Doa Selamat, ‘Bersungkai’, and Maghrib
Prayers were lead by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin
Khatib Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murad.
Also present were the Acting Managing Director,
YM Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman bin Pengiran Haji
Mat Salleh, Members of Board of Directors of
Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries as well as
members of the Syariah Advisory Committee .
