Khatam Al-Quran, and ‘Bersungkai’

Officers and
Staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries
Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd and Darussalam
Holdings Sdn Bhd held its annual religious
activity in the Holy Month of Ramadhan for the
Khatam Al-Quran & Bersungkai ceremony which was
held at The Songket Ballroom of The Rizqun
International Hotel, at The Mall Gadong.
The event started with the presentation of the
‘Caruman Pelan Takaful Siswa Khas’ for the
orphans for the year 2008 which totals to BND$
71,440.00 and the Dana D.P.M.M.B for the
Orphanage contributed by Perbadanan TAIB
employees amounting to BND$ 3,914.74
Present as the guest of Honour was Pehin Jawatan
Luar Pekerma Raja Dato Seri Utama Dr Ustaz Haji
Awang Mohd Zain Bin Haji Serudin, Minister of
Religious Affairs.
The DANA was presented by YM Dato Paduka Dr Haji
Mat Suny Bin Haji Mohd Hussein, the Deputy
Minister of Development cum Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Perbadanan TAIB. In
attendance to receive on behalf of DANA
D.P.M.M.B was the DANA Head Executive Officer,
YM Dato Paduka Haji Ali Hashim Bin Haji Daud.
The ceremony then precedes with the Khatam Al-Quran,
‘Bersungkai’, and Maghrib prayers which was lead
by YM Mudim Hj Tamin Bin Hj Puting.
Also present were the Acting Managing Director,
YM Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Pengiran Haji
Mat Salleh, members of Board of Directors of
Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries as well as
members of the Syariah Advisory Committee.
